It is not every day that the opportunity to work with one of the most recognisable brands in th world comes around. So when we were approached to work on the Starbucks new store launches in Northampton, Wellingborough, Rugby, Nuneaton and Peterborough we were highly excited.
To raise awareness amongst consumers of the new store openings within their specific catchment areas. To support each launch by driving footfall into store through promotions and give aways. To continue to raise awareness of the new stores and engage audiences throughout the year.
Social media played an important role in helping launch the stores and create a buzz around the brand. Facebook, Twitter & Instagram were the channels selected to tap into local audiences and promote the launch dates. We utilised a variety of tactics including competitions, promotions and give aways to raise awareness and drive footfall.
Each store met their commercial objectives for their opening days but in Rugby 350 consumers were queuing for the store to open which resulted in record breaking first day sales for the UK.
